The donation consists of an extensive collection of texts on Kiesler’s activities in America which fill a gap in the history of the reception of Kiesler’s work in the 30s and 40s.
The blueprints of two significant projects such as the Shrine of The Book and the World House Gallery replace the missing original architecture plans and complete the documentation on these important works by Frederick Kiesler.

Galaxies
These two large works by Kiesler has been generously donated to the Kiesler Foundation by the Gesellschaft der Freunde der bildenden Künste and by the founders Gertraud and Dieter Bogner in 2004.
The two works represent Kiesler’s late 1950s turn to fine arts. In this period he sought to blur the boundaries between the art and architecture producing abstract-organic composition mostly inspired to the design of the Endless House.  The two Galaxies have been exhibited in the show “Arti&Architettura”, Genoa, 2004.

Dorazio Donation
The Italian artist Piero Dorazio (1927-2005) met Frederick Kiesler in New York in the 1950s during one of the art talks at Philip Pavia “The Club” on 8th Street. Kiesler remained friend with Dorazio when he returned to Europe and visited him in Rome. When Kiesler died, Dorazio painted Endless Federico - a tribute to his artist friend.
Piero Dorazio had donated his correspondence with Kiesler to the Archive in 2001. The donation contains 28 autograph letters by Kiesler from 1957 to 1964.
